Earthquake of 4.3 Magnitude Recorded in Turkey
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in southeastern Turkey. The information was provided by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
"An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude occurred at 16:26 (17:26 Yerevan time) in the Sinjik district of Adıyaman," the statement said. The epicenter was located at a depth of 7 km.
It should be noted that on February 6 at 05:17, an earthquake occurred in Turkey's Kahramanmaraş province, which led to destruction in several cities. Two additional strong earthquakes were recorded at 14:24 and 14:36 Yerevan time. The intensity of the underground shock in the epicentral zone reached 10-11 points.
More than 50,000 people have fallen victim to earthquakes in Turkey.
