Citizen Obligated to Transfer 50 Million Dram to the State Without Compensation

On April 13, 2023, a settlement agreement was signed between the Prosecutor General's Office and citizen Eduard Kamoy Harutyunyan in the context of a procedure for confiscating property of illegal origin. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the RA Prosecutor's Office.

According to the agreement, the citizen has committed to transfer 50 million dram to the state without compensation, which constitutes 79.58 percent of the value of the alleged illegally obtained property.

The mentioned agreement was submitted to the Anti-Corruption Court for approval on March 13, 2023. By the court's decision on April 13, 2023, the settlement agreement was approved.
