Avanesyan Reports on the Health Condition of Severely Injured Soldier
There has been some positive progress regarding the health condition of injured soldiers. This was stated by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan during a press briefing with journalists.
“Yesterday, we had stabilization in the condition of a soldier who is in extremely serious condition, which is very good and we hope that the recovery will be positive,” she said.
Avanesyan also noted that there is some positive progress in the condition of the other 5 injured soldiers.
“I visited them, wished them a speedy recovery, and inquired about their health condition,” the minister added.
She also reported that the situation of the soldiers who suffered burns due to a fire in the military barracks is satisfactory, and they are in the process of long-term treatment.
It should be recalled that on April 11, around 16:00, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on Armenian servicemen conducting engineering works in the Tegh community, to which the Armenian side responded. Around 17:30, Azerbaijani units used mortar means. As a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side has 4 deaths and 6 injuries.
