Slain Narek Sargsyan Was from Sevan, Unmarried

Yesterday, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia released the names of soldiers who sacrificed their lives defending the sovereign territory of Armenia from Azerbaijani provocations on April 11. Among them was Narek Sargsyan (born in 1994), who was from Sevan and was the middle child in his family.

Contract soldier Narek participated in the battles of the 44-day war, serving in the hottest spots, and never disclosed where he had been or what important tasks he had accomplished.

Narek was unmarried and was serving in Syunik, providing for his family.

It is noteworthy that as a result of the exchange of fire that took place in the village of Tegh, the Armenian side suffered 4 fatalities and 6 injuries.
