Surena Papikyan Halts Working Visit and Returns to Armenia: Ministry of Defense

Surena Papikyan has halted his working visit and is returning to Armenia. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

Recall that yesterday it was announced that on April 10, the delegation headed by the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Surena Papikyan, had departed for Brussels on a working visit.

Today, around 16:00, Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire towards Armenian soldiers engaged in engineering work in the Tegh community, prompting a response from the Armenian side. Around 17:30, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces used mortar weapons.

As a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side has reported 4 killed and 6 wounded.

As of 20:30, the situation on the front line remains relatively stable.
