Intensity of Gunfire on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border Has Slightly Decreased

Armenian-Azerbaijani border tension remains high. The armed forces of Azerbaijan continue provocations in the border area near the village of Tegh. However, according to our sources, the intensity of gunfire has slightly decreased. This was reported by Haykakan Zhamanak.

Earlier, we reported an exchange of fire following another provocation by Azerbaijani forces in the border area near the village of Tegh. On April 11, around 16:00, Azerbaijani military units opened fire towards Armenian soldiers conducting engineering works in the Tegh community.

According to circulating reports, as a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side suffered 3 casualties, while the Azerbaijani side reported 4. However, the number of casualties has not been officially confirmed by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
