Why Are Our Borders So Defenseless and Why Are There No Landmines? – Edik Baghdasaryan

Investigative journalist Edik Baghdasaryan made a post asking: “Can Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Chief of Staff General Edward Asryan explain how Azerbaijani soldiers managed to reach the village of Bnunis and then Ashotavan? Why are our borders so defenseless? Why are there no landmines? Do we not have soldiers in the positions? Do we lack night vision equipment?”

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia recently reported that on April 10, between 01:00 and 02:00, an Azerbaijani soldier was found and arrested on Armenian territory. The Ministry noted that there was another soldier with the arrested serviceman, and search operations are ongoing. Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported the disappearance of two Azerbaijani servicemen.
