Armenian Athletes to Participate in European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Turkey
Five Armenian gymnasts will participate in the European Championships in Antalya, Turkey, as reported by the Armenian Gymnastics Federation.
It is noted that delegates from 39 countries will compete for the title of the strongest in the continent. A total of 321 representatives are expected to participate (178 men and 143 women) in team, all-around, and individual competitions.
The honor of the Armenian sports flag will be defended by Harutun Merdinyan, Arthur Davtyan, Vahagn Davtyan, Arthur Avetisyan, and Gagik Khachikyan. The head coach of the national team, Hakob Serobyan, and Arthur Gyurjinyan will work in the judging panel, while the athletes will be accompanied to the competition floor by coaches Sos Sargsyan and Hayk Nazaryan. The championship will reach its climax on April 16.
