Saakashvili Claims He Is Dying

The imprisoned former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has stated that he is dying. "When I returned to Georgia in October 2021, I was a healthy, energetic 54-year-old man. After my arrest, my health began to deteriorate rapidly. Now I am dying. I am suffering from more than 20 serious illnesses that emerged while I have been in custody," wrote Saakashvili for Politico, the article being relayed through his lawyer.

It is worth noting that Saakashvili has also told Politico that Russian agents infiltrated Georgian special services have been involved in his poisoning.
