Erdogan and Iranian President Hold Phone Conversation: What Was Discussed
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, have held a phone conversation. This was reported by the Turkish Anadolu state news agency.
The two presidents discussed regional developments, Turkish-Iranian relations, and the increasing tensions in the Middle East, particularly regarding Israel's attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
President Erdogan emphasized the importance of preventing new phases of escalation and violence, which he believes can only be achieved through the demonstration of reason. In this context, Erdogan called for joint actions to be taken.
