Cyprus Parliament Adopts Resolution Condemning Azerbaijan
The Cypriot Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) and the ARF Armenian Cause Committee of Cyprus, in light of the blockade of the Lachin corridor and ongoing Azerbaijani provocations against Armenia, presented a resolution condemning Azerbaijan for discussion in parliament. This initiative was carried out in cooperation with the state representative of the Cypriot Armenian community, as well as with allies from the circle of Artsakh friends.
According to reports from the Central Office of the ARF Bureau of the Armenian Cause, the presented resolution was discussed and unanimously adopted during the plenary session of the parliament on April 6. The resolution not only condemns Azerbaijan but also urges it to immediately open the corridor.
The ARF Armenian Cause Committee of Cyprus expresses its gratitude to the parliamentary parties of Cyprus and reaffirms its commitment to continue working on the protection of Armenia and Artsakh's international interests. The committee is convinced that through the unification of national efforts and securing the support of various segments of the international community, it will be possible to overcome the Turkish-Azerbaijani expansionist ambitions and geopolitical challenges.
