Prime Minister's Office Spends 19 Million Drams on Broadcast Services
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "The Prime Minister's Office has purchased broadcasting services from the company 'Media Systems' LLC for 12 million 180 thousand drams. With this amount, the company is expected to broadcast programs for Armenian audiences in Russia, the USA, and Europe. The content of the programs the Prime Minister's Office plans to prepare for the diaspora is not specified in the purchase agreement.
Additionally, the Prime Minister's Office has transferred 7 million 290 thousand drams to 'Ar and Art' LLC, which is to provide live broadcasting services to the Office. Interestingly, the live broadcasts of the Prime Minister's Office were previously ensured by Public Television, and the Prime Minister's Office has its own 'Public Relations and Information Center' State Non-Commercial Organization, which receives substantial grants, and is currently undergoing renovations. Furthermore, last year, the Prime Minister's Office purchased expensive 'live' equipment.
This raises the question of why such equipment is acquired by the state, salaries are paid, if these services are then contracted out to private companies."
