VIDEO: Candidate for Human Rights Defender Recites Poetry at Committee Meeting, "Shame Again"
During today’s session of the National Assembly's Permanent Commission on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs, the election of the parliamentary opposition's unified candidate Edgar Ghazaryan for the position of Human Rights Defender was discussed, although representatives of the parliamentary opposition were absent.
According to Edgar Ghazaryan, he attended because he cannot be in solidarity with this reality. “I will fight to eliminate this situation; that is my mission,” Ghazaryan stated.
