Thousands of Protesters Gather Near U.S. Embassy in Moscow

On the occasion of NATO's founding day, protesters from the "Young Guard of United Russia" and the "Combat Brotherhood Volunteers" organized a demonstration near the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.

“NATO, you are an advocate of terrorism. We will not forget and we will not forgive,” said Anton Demidov, president of the "Young Guard of United Russia." The protesters shouted slogans including, “Stop NATO,” “NATO, you are killing the great and the children,” and “NATO promotes terrorism.” They also called out, “We do not need NATO,” “NATO is the patron of Nazism,” and various other slogans.
