“Alen Simonyan Will Read This Text and Still Understand Nothing”: Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s Spokesman
Arman Musinyan, the spokesman for the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, has addressed Ter-Petrosyan's comments regarding the incident that took place at Cascade and the response from the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, on his Facebook page.
“Of course, it could have been suggested to Alen Simonyan that:
- It is foolish to attribute ideas to the President about his resignation and to draw comparisons with other political figures that do not exist in Ter-Petrosyan's text. Reading a text is one thing, understanding what is written in the text is another, and writing a text is yet another talent. Unfortunately, as his response has shown, Alen Simonyan lacks those abilities.
- It is childish to constantly tell himself that he is not a traitor. That only convinces the public of the opposite.
- However, it should be noted that it is commendable to acknowledge the catastrophic damages inflicted on the state. This is something Alen Simonyan could engage in day and night, as the factual material is immense.
The sad part is that I am more than confident that Alen Simonyan will read this text as well, and he still won't understand anything,” Musinyan stated.
