Deputy Mher Sahakyan has been released. Supporters and friends of the MP gathered at the detention center of the police department of Yerevan.

The 72-hour detention period has expired. On March 31, the Investigative Committee announced that a criminal case had been initiated regarding the incident that occurred in the National Assembly, leading to the arrest of MP Mher Sahakyan.

It is noteworthy that on March 31, during the closed working discussion of the National Assembly's permanent committee on state-legal issues, which was attended exclusively by deputies and the representative of Armenia in international legal matters, an undesirable incident took place. This was stated in the announcement made by the 'Armenia' faction regarding the March 31 incident in the National Assembly.
