VIDEO: Baku Claims Control Over Two Villages
According to official Baku, as a result of operations carried out on March 25, control has been established over two "previously Azerbaijani populated villages" in the Shushi region. This information is reported by Azerbaijani media.
"As a result of this operation, two villages in the Shushi region, as well as adjacent heights and territories, are now under the control of the Azerbaijani army," reports the APA agency.
It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Pashinyan stated at the government meeting on March 30 that units of the Azerbaijani armed forces, violating the first point of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, crossed the contact line in the Shushi region and occupied height 20/54, beginning engineering works there. From that height, Azerbaijan has placed the road connecting Stepanakert with Old Shen and Big Shen under direct observation.
