Russia Takes Over Presidency of the UN Security Council

Russia will take over the presidency of the UN Security Council in April. Previously, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that another significant event during Russia's presidency will be a high-level open debate on the topic of "Effective Multilateralism through the Protection of the Principles of the UN Charter," which will be co-chaired by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
