Snow Falls in Jermuk, Vanadzor, and Kajaran: Road Conditions

The Emergency Service has reported that there are closed roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and the road leading to the Kani Lake are closed. The Stepanavan turns are impassable for trucks with trailers.

In the Gegharkunik region, snow is falling in the cities of Jermuk, Vanadzor, and Kajaran, particularly in the Saravan-Zanger section. In the area known as "Meghrashen Mountain," there is fog.

As for the Lars situation, information received from Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Department and Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia Crisis Management Center confirms that the Stepanantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
