Military Prosecutor Does Not Rule Out Criminal Prosecution of Other Individuals in the Azat Military Barrack Fire Case: Norikian

To assert that we will receive exhaustive answers to all questions, I will refrain from doing so. This was stated by Norair Norikian, the representative of the relatives of the servicemen who died in a fire in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik region, during a conversation with reporters, according to Armenia Today.

Norikian informed that all the questions concerning the victims have been raised.
“We received an answer that the existence of other versions regarding the incident cannot be ruled out at this time. However, we have not been provided with comprehensive information regarding these versions. Currently, five individuals are under criminal prosecution. The military prosecutor has not ruled out the possibility of initiating criminal prosecutions against other individuals as well,” Norikian announced.

Today, the parents of the deceased also visited the military prosecutor's office. They raised their pressing questions.
“They insisted on the version proposed by Pashinyan, but we have our own version and we will go to the end. Pashinyan, Papikyan, and Alen Simonyan should not think for a second that they can sit in their newly acquired apartments and rejoice while the parents of those children have no means to live,” he emphasized.
