Russian Defense Ministry on Azerbaijani Advancements in the Shushi-Lisagor Area

The command of the Russian peacekeeping force is taking measures to prevent escalation of the crisis situation and provocations. This was stated in a report by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The Azerbaijani side has been urged to comply with the provisions of the trilateral agreements between the heads of states, to cease engineering works, and to take measures to withdraw national armed forces units from previously occupied positions," the report said.

It was noted that one more violation of the ceasefire regime was recorded in the Martuni region. No casualties have been reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
