Strategic Missile Forces Exercises with Yars Complexes Launched in Russia

Strategic missile forces exercises featuring Yars complexes have commenced in Russia. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has issued this announcement.

More than 3,000 military personnel and approximately 300 pieces of equipment are involved in the exercises. The command commission of the strategic missile forces will verify the consistency of the military personnel's actions with the tasks assigned, the ministry emphasized.

The defense ministry also noted that the exercises will include the development of autonomous launch maneuver operations for the Yars systems, covering areas in three regions. Furthermore, the missile carriers will conduct a series of activities to ensure concealment and resistance against modern aerial reconnaissance equipment, with participation from the Central Military District and aerospace forces.
