Ceasefire Violation Reported Near Shushi: Russian Defense Ministry

The Russian peacekeeping force continues to carry out its missions in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, monitoring the situation and maintaining the ceasefire regime at thirty observation posts around the clock. This was stated in the daily report of the Russian Defense Ministry.

A ceasefire violation was reported in the vicinity of Shushi, but there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident. The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent is conducting an investigation regarding this fact in coordination with both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides.

Patrols have been conducted in the regions of Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi along three routes. The security of the Russian peacekeeping contingent is ensured, and humanitarian convoys are being escorted along the Goris-Stepanakert route. Continuous collaboration is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia to ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and to prevent possible incidents.
