The Shooter in Tennessee Christian School Shooting is a Transgender Woman, Local Police Report

In Nashville, Tennessee, a shooting at a private Christian school has resulted in the deaths of at least six individuals, including the shooter who carried out the attack.

According to American media reports, the police have identified the shooter as 28-year-old Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a resident of Nashville who identifies as transgender. It was previously reported that she targeted the Covenant Christian private school, which has approximately 200 students.

Audrey Hale was armed with two rifles and a handgun. Police engaged with her, leading to her being shot.

The White House Press Office has announced that President Joe Biden has ordered the national flags to be lowered in honor of the victims of the tragedy in Nashville.
