Assassination Attempt Against Azerbaijani MP in Baku
In Baku, an unidentified assailant opened fire on MP Fazil Mustafa. The incident occurred shortly after he left a market near his home.
An armed man fired at the parliamentarian twice, according to Azerbaijani media reports. According to some sources, Mustafa sustained injuries to his shoulder and leg. He has been hospitalized with reported injuries to both his leg and shoulder, but his life is not in danger.
