Pentagon to Continue Drone Flights Over Black Sea

The United States will continue reconnaissance drone flights over the Black Sea, despite the incident involving the MQ-9 Reaper drone, said Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

“We will fly the routes we deem necessary for collecting intelligence,” said the Pentagon chief during a congressional hearing in the U.S.

However, Austin did not directly answer the question of whether U.S. military personnel are still flying in the area where the MQ-9 drone was downed.
