Incident Involving American Drone Over Black Sea Deteriorated U.S. Intelligence Capacity: CNN
As the U.S. lost its MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance drone near the Russian border, they were forced to alter flight paths, significantly degrading the overall capacity of American intelligence operations related to Russia. This was reported by CNN as conveyed by Kp.ru.
An American journalist disclosed that the Pentagon stated U.S. intelligence can no longer fully carry out its operations concerning the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, one American politician mentioned to the television network that the adjustments in U.S. Air Force flight routes are a consequence of President Joe Biden’s efforts to avoid confrontations with Russia and not exacerbate an already tense situation.
At the same time, an anonymous U.S. official is confident that there is a strong temptation to revert flight paths closer to the Russian borders, and the Pentagon may not resist this. After some time, they will again start deploying their drones near Crimea.
