Vladimir Putin Honors 10-Year-Old Boy with Medal

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to award a medal for bravery, "For Courage," to 10-year-old Fyodor Simonenko, who was injured while rescuing two girls during a terrorist infiltration in the Bryansk region. The decree was published on the official internet portal of legal information, as reported by kommersant.ru.

The decree states, "For displaying courage, bravery, and selflessness while fulfilling civic duty."

It should be noted that on March 2, a group of saboteurs entered two villages in the Bryansk region of Russia—Sushany and Lyubechany—from the territory of Ukraine. As a result of the actions of the saboteurs, two men were killed, including the driver of a Niva who was taking the children to school.
