Netanyahu Announces Intent to Suspend Judicial Reforms
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has informed the head of the Israeli government coalition of his intention to suspend judicial reforms, according to local Kan radio.
As reported by Haaretz, a public statement from the Israeli Prime Minister is expected later today.
It is noteworthy that on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed Defense Minister Yoav Galant. This was stated in a declaration released by the Prime Minister's office.
Galant had issued a statement on the evening of March 25, advocating for the cessation of the judicial reforms that have sparked numerous protests across the country. He warned that the divisions caused by the reforms have already begun to infiltrate the ranks of the Israeli army, posing a threat to national security.
