Kim Jong Un Locks Down Entire City After 653 Bullets Go Missing
The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, has locked down an entire city after 653 bullets went missing. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
The source details that representatives from responsible authorities conducted house-to-house searches in the city of Hyesan, which has a population of around 200,000, in an effort to locate the missing ammunition, as reported by two sources to Radio Free Asia.
"The city... will remain under lockdown until all 653 bullets are found," an anonymous resident told the Korean service of Radio Free Asia.
A source indicated that a wide-ranging investigation is underway due to the loss of ammunition during troop withdrawal. According to the source, the soldiers initially did not report the disappearance and attempted to find the bullets themselves. Law enforcement and military personnel have launched an investigation, blocked off the entire city, and started house-to-house searches, the source noted.
