Armenian Foreign Ministry Does Not Disclose Communication Mechanism with Azerbaijan Regarding Peace Treaty
The Armenian Foreign Ministry has not disclosed the communication mechanism regarding the peace treaty with Azerbaijan. Sputnik Armenia had sent a written inquiry to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, requesting information on how the parties exchange their proposals.
In response, the Foreign Ministry stated, "Proposals regarding the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan are exchanged through diplomatic channels."
It is noteworthy that on March 24, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the Azerbaijani side had presented 4 documents regarding the peace treaty, while the Armenian side had submitted 3. The latest document has been received by Armenia from Azerbaijan, but a response has not yet been formulated.
Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Yerevan would soon present its observations regarding Azerbaijan's latest proposals on the peace treaty.
