Haroyan and Movsisyan Discuss Match Against Turkey's National Football Team

"Setting emotions aside, we had more goal-scoring opportunities than them. We just needed to convert them. We should have been a bit cooler under pressure. We had issues in the defensive line," said Armenia national football team defender Varazdat Haroyan in a conversation with reporters, as reported by Armenpress.

According to the defender, after going 1-0 up, the national team should have played with more confidence, as they will face stronger opponents soon, such as the Croatian national team.

In their opening match of the European Championship qualifying round, Armenia's national football team hosted Turkey's team in Yerevan and lost with a score of 1:2.

On March 28, Armenia will play a friendly match against the Cyprus national football team. The match will take place at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, starting at 19:00.

Former forward of the Armenia national team, Yura Movsisyan, also took to Facebook to say, "The guys fought well. Let's look ahead."
