VIDEO: "What vodka, what are you talking about, what are you allowing yourselves" - Tensions Escalate in Parliament
During a session of the National Assembly's foreign relations committee, Kristine Vardanyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, stated that an impression is being created from the negotiations that the most important point in Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations, where there is no understanding, is the status of Artsakh.
“But the question is this: Are there any demands from Azerbaijan related to Armenia that are acceptable or unacceptable to you? Is there a question of reparations in these demands? Is there a question regarding the return of the so-called enclaves? Is there a demand for Azerbaijanis to reside in Armenia? You say the basis of the negotiations is the Alma-Ata declaration; did you also consider that basis with the reservation of the Supreme Council of Armenia or not?” she asked.
“I hope, Madam Deputy, that you understand well how public the negotiation process can be, and how not, when you talk about the awareness of the Armenian people regarding all the details. I hope that if you were of the same age a few years ago, you would have presented the same demand to the then authorities as well. But a lot of things are already public; you can find out now what has been negotiated when. We are also negotiating within the framework of our perceptions and the obligations we have undertaken. Naturally, not every letter can be made public. Regarding the questions you raised, what can you hint at, there are numerous cases in which you are working in collaboration with 'vodka'” said Mirzoyan.
