Putin and Xi Jinping Did Not Discuss Ukraine Peace Plan, Says Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin did not discuss the Ukrainian peace plan with Chinese leader Xi Jinping; instead, there was an exchange of thoughts about the Chinese initiative, said Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian President.

Earlier, media outlets reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed regret that China did not respond to Kyiv’s proposed peace plan.

According to Reuters, during a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Zelensky stated that the Chinese authorities had not reacted to the proposal to join Kyiv’s peace plan.
