Car Collision in Gyumri Results in Casualties

On March 21, at 11:15 PM, the Shirak regional crisis management center received a report of a traffic accident at the 'Hayuhy' square in Gyumri, with casualties noted and requiring the assistance of rescue teams.

Two firefighting and rescue units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was established that a collision had occurred between an 'Opel Astra G' and a 'Mercedes-Benz C180' vehicle. Rescuers disconnected the power supply to the cars, closed the gas cylinder valves, and retrieved one deceased individual and two injured persons from the 'Opel Astra G' vehicle. One of the injured succumbed to their injuries while being transported to the hospital, while the other was hospitalized at the Gyumri Medical Center, where their condition was assessed as extremely critical.
