At Least 11 Dead and Dozens Injured After Powerful Earthquake in Afghanistan
At least 11 people have been killed after an earthquake struck Afghanistan. According to News, 44 people have been injured.
In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of northwest Pakistan, seven individuals lost their lives, while two more were reported dead in the eastern Afghan province of Laghman.
Earlier, it was reported that a magnitude 6.8 earthquake was registered in Afghanistan. The epicenter was located 48 km southwest of the city of Ishkashim, which has a population of over 12,000.
The tremor occurred at a depth of 185 km near the Afghanistan border with Pakistan and Tajikistan.
