Young Man Insults and Attempts to Detonate a Grenade at a Gas Station: Details
On the evening of March 18, criminal investigators from the Novemberyan police department received information that during the time period between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., a 31-year-old man grossly violated public order by shouting obscenities at unidentified individuals and attempted to use a grenade-like object, which was prevented by bystanders.
This was reported by the Armenian Police.
The Novemberyan police took measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify eyewitnesses, and locate the young man. As a result of explanatory work, on March 20, the young man appeared at the Novemberyan police department with a petition of apology. He also presented an F-1 type grenade with a detonator, which he attempted to use during the aforementioned incident.
The young man has been referred to the Novemberyan investigative department. The circumstances of the case are being clarified.
