Has a Ministry of Defense Soldier Gone Missing or Been Abducted While Delivering Food to Positions?

Today, a contract soldier of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense was reported to have gone missing while delivering food to soldiers in the area of the Sevan Lake, due to fog causing him to lose his way and the path to the Armenian positions, according to 'Pastinfo'.

The media outlet reports that the missing individual is a resident of Khnzoresk, approximately 40 years old. “There is a hypothesis that he has been captured, the vehicle is also missing, and he is nowhere to be found,” said a source familiar with the situation.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has not yet provided any official information regarding the incident. It remains uncertain whether he got lost due to the fog or was abducted.

Earlier, Auroranews.am spoke with the mayor of Khnzoresk, Ervand Malunts, who confirmed that he is aware of the situation but does not have details at the moment. “I am aware of the incident, but I am not familiar with the specifics; we are currently heading to the scene. I have not been in the area; I know the incident occurred, but I do not know how. You are asking questions to which I do not have answers at this time,” he remarked.

When asked when he might be able to provide more details, he stated that he would be at the scene in about an hour.
