We Will Stay on the Field and Win: Turkey's National Football Team Goalkeeper

Turkey's national football team athletes Mert Günok and Umut Nayir are aiming to achieve positive results in the matches against Armenia and Croatia in Group D of Euro 2024. This was reported by ermenihaber.am.

Goalkeeper Günok stated, "There may be various opinions and discussions about the game against Armenia. But we will stay on the field and we will win. After that, we have a much tougher match against Croatia awaiting us."

Forward Nayir, who is called up to the national team for the first time, emphasized, "There are people in the team with whom I have played football before. Our current goal is significant. We want to successfully start this process with the game against Armenia."

Recall that on March 25, in the first round of the Euro 2024 qualifying phase, the Armenian national team will meet the Turkish team at the Republican Stadium named after Vazgen Sargsyan in Yerevan.
