Armenian Wrestlers Achieve Victories Over Azerbaijani Rivals at U23 European Championship

The European U23 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship has commenced in Bucharest, Romania, where representatives from Armenia, Karapet Manvelyan and Sahak Hovhannisyan, have secured victories over Azerbaijani competitors. This information has been reported by the Armenian Wrestling Federation.

Specifically, in the 55 kg weight category, Karapet Manvelyan defeated Rahim Hasanov with a score of 7:1, advancing to the semifinals.

In the 63 kg weight category, Sahak Hovhannisyan triumphed over Azerbaijani wrestler Khurshud Babashov with a score of 3:1, moving on to the quarterfinals.
