New Resignations at Yerevan City Hall: 'Hraparak'

Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan's resignation has prompted a wave of other resignations. This was reported by 'Hraparak'.

Allies are also leaving. On the same day as his resignation, Friday, the chairman of the Metro Directors' Council Haik Hovhannisyan and Chief Secretary Seyran Mejlumyan also submitted their resignations.

There were rumors that the new chief secretary would be Republican council member Armen Galjyan, but according to our sources, they will not allow the interim mayor Levon Hovhannisyan-Armen Galjyan pair to control the city's levers.

Resignation papers were also submitted by Sevak Asatryan, the head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control.
