VIDEO: ‘Regulating the situation around the Lachin corridor is a priority issue,’ Lavrov to Mirzoyan

The trilateral statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan continue to be the key to resolving the situation in the region. This was announced today by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

Lavrov noted that today's agenda is rich and added that special attention will be paid to security issues, particularly the situation around the Lachin corridor.

The Russian Foreign Minister considers the agreements of the leaders of the three countries as the basis for implementing all decisions aimed at ensuring the stabilization of the situation. This includes economic, military-political, and international legal spheres.

Lavrov declared that Russia is ready to assist in any way in resolving the existing issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan, both in unblocking transport routes and in the coordination of a peace agreement.

It is worth noting that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan last met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on March 3 in New Delhi.
