Macron's Approval Rating Drops: What Do Survey Results Indicate?

French President Emmanuel Macron's approval rating has decreased, reaching 28% due to public discontent regarding pension reforms, leading to mass protests in the country. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the IFOP sociological service, published on Sunday in the printed edition of Le Journal du dimanche.

Frédéric Dabi, a representative of the sociological service, believes that the head of state is "paying the price for unpopular pension reforms in society." The popularity of French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne has also fallen to 29%, marking the lowest point since she assumed office.

The survey was conducted between March 9 and March 16, with nearly 2,000 participants aged 18 and older.
