Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Calls on Armenia to Refrain from Aggressive Actions and Revanchist Politics
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has responded to a statement from Armenia's Foreign Ministry. The aggressor country specifically states: "We strongly condemn and reject the March 18 statement by Armenia's Foreign Ministry, which indicates the continuation of baseless territorial claims against the Republic of Azerbaijan, undermining Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty and grossly interfering in its internal affairs.
We call on Armenia, which cannot reconcile with the return of lands belonging to former displaced persons victims of Armenia's ethnic cleansing policies, to recognize the realities of the 44-day Patriotic War and to refrain from aggressive actions and revanchist politics," stated Ayhan Hajiyev, the press secretary of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
It should be noted that earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry issued a statement in response to Azerbaijani President Aliyev's false assertions, particularly noting, "Azerbaijan is doing everything to make peace in the region impossible."
