How Water Originated on Planet Earth: Scientific Explanations
Water on planet Earth originated from the influence of celestial bodies from the asteroid belt and the orbit of Jupiter. This view has been expressed by scientists from the Institute of Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
As explained by Academician Mikhail Marov, Earth and terrestrial planets formed in a high-temperature zone where water concentrated in what is called the snow line. Scientists have studied the migration of small bodies and the development of planet Earth, revealing how migration towards Earth relates to the study of exogenous sources of water and the creation of favorable conditions for the emergence of life on planets in the Solar System.
