VIDEO: Freight Train Carrying Hazardous Materials Derails in Arizona

A freight train carrying hazardous materials has derailed in Arizona, as reported by the New York Times, citing local authorities.

The incident occurred last night near the town of Topock in Mohave County, close to the Arizona border with California and Nevada. Details about the incident have not been released, and there is also no information regarding any leaks resulting from the derailment.

Notably, just a month ago, 50 out of 141 cars of a freight train derailed in Ohio, with twenty of those cars containing hazardous chemicals, including vinyl chloride. That accident resulted in a powerful fire that engulfed numerous cars of the train, and an evacuation was declared in a nearby community.
