FAF to Organize March Ahead of Armenia-Turkey Match
The Armenia-Turkey match in the qualifying round of the UEFA Euro 2024 will take place on March 25. The game is scheduled to be held at the V. Sargsyan Republican Stadium and will kick off at 21:00.
In anticipation of this match, members of Armenia's national team fan movement, FAF (First Armenian Front), have announced that they will organize a collective march for fans before the game.
“Dear fans, the start of the Euro 2024 qualifying stage is approaching, and for us, it will begin with #lifegame. On March 25 at 17:00, before the Armenia-Turkey match, FAF is organizing a collective fan march from France Square (near the statue of Aram Khachaturian), which will conclude at the Republican Stadium. It doesn’t matter which stand you support our team from; what matters is to be one whole, to show endless faith, and to see unconditional dedication on the field,” the statement reads.
All participants of the march are urged to wear black clothing and carry scarves or flags of the national team or Armenia. For safety precautions, media representatives and those filming the march are requested to maintain a distance of 15 meters ahead of the drummers,” the announcement also emphasized.
