Border Guard Commits Suicide in Vorotan

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that a border guard committed suicide in the Vorotan community a few days ago. The deceased was from Abovyan, where he was buried yesterday.

Interestingly, the relevant authorities, in this case the National Security Service (NSS), have not released any official information regarding this incident. According to a source from Syunik, both in the Armed Forces and the border guard units, the cases of suicide have increased recently; however, only a minimal percentage of such incidents, due to the negligence prevailing in the system, are reported officially.
