Oscar 2023 Winners Announced

In the category of 'Best Picture,' the Oscar went to 'Everything Everywhere All at Once.' Brendan Fraser was named 'Best Actor' for his role in Darren Aronofsky's film 'The Whale,' while Michelle Yeoh won 'Best Actress' for her performance in 'Everything Everywhere All at Once.' Yeoh is the first Asian actress to receive an Oscar.

The award for 'Best Director' was awarded to Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan for 'Everything Everywhere All at Once.' The film also triumphed in the categories of 'Best Editing' and 'Best Original Screenplay.' Additionally, the film's actors Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan received awards for 'Best Supporting Actress' and 'Best Supporting Actor,' respectively.

The winner of 'Best Adapted Screenplay' was 'Women Talking,' while James Friend was recognized as 'Best Cinematographer' for 'All Quiet on the Western Front.'

'Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio' won in the 'Best Animated Feature' category, whereas 'All Quiet on the Western Front' was awarded 'Best International Feature Film.'

The film 'Avatar: The Way of Water' received an Oscar for 'Best Visual Effects.'
