Is Meladze Funded by the Ukrainian Armed Forces? An Audit Will Be Conducted

The Moscow Prosecutor's Office will investigate the possible funding of famous singer Valery Meladze by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to TACC, this information comes from the country's law enforcement agencies. A source from the agency stated that the relevant order has been received from the Attorney General's office.

Previously, Vitaly Borodin, head of the federal project on security and anti-corruption, had submitted a request to Attorney General Igor Krasnov asking for an audit to be conducted. He noted that Meladze had repeatedly criticized the special operation taking place in Ukraine and had also echoed nationalist slogans from Ukraine during a corporate event in the UAE.
